Getting people started with horses safely and correctly is a tremendous responsibility. I use my training as a schoolteacher, and as a former medic, sometimes side-by-side. The student horse person is a treasure to be nurtured carefully into a partnership with horses. A student's talents need to be explored and channeled towards their own goals, whether its having a backyard pony, or going for Olympic Gold.
